Literally hundreds of packets of seeds changed hand at G3's 'Seedy Saturday' event in Glastonbury last Saturday. There were lots of interesting and unusual varieties available, particularly of squashes, tomatoes and leafy greens.   As usual, there were the 'mystery packets' where the writing couldn't be deciphered but people were still willing to take them home to 'bung in and see what happens'.

Colum Pawson gave a great talk on successful seed sowing - basic enough for those for whom it is a new venture but with enough reminders and expert tips for the experienced gardener.

Yummy cakes, baked and sold by the children from GLOW, raised over £60 towards tools and equipment for their garden.

Thanks to all who took part!
