Event Description

We have a volunteer opportunity at Eastleigh Court in Taunton. We are looking for someone that is interested in gardening, growing vegetables and supporting people who have a history of homelessness and mental illness.

We have a large garden which has a fenced off full sized allotment and green house and also six raised beds for clients to garden themselves.

The allotment has been productive but needs a regular trustee to manage the growing space and encourage and motivate clients to get involved.

On site training on organic vegetable growing and mental health will be available.

This position will require that the successful applicant will be able to manage their own time and work unsupervised in the garden but staff will be available on site.

One day a week or two afternoons a week.

Pleas follow the link below or go to and follow the links to volunteer gardener to apply.
