Due to a cancellation from a trainer, an paid opportunity is now available for a kind & skilled person to support a workshop on Saturday 11th August form 1-4pm in Axbridge, Somerset.
As part of the Incredible Edible Somerset Open Garden's Scheme; http://incredible-edible-somerset.ning.com/page/open-gardens taking place this weekend, Axbridge Community Allotment are hosting an Introduction to Forest Gardening Workshop.
This will involve an intro to forest gardening & how the principles have been applied at this new community forest garden. They are looking for someone who can offer a 1-2 hour session as part of this on fruit tree management, covering pruning essentials, mulching and other general care of fruit trees & fruit bushes.
The workshop leader can be paid for their time & for preparation needed, as well as travel expenses incurred. Please email nicole.vosper@somersetcommunityfood.org.uk ASAP if interested.
