Somerset Community Food has an exciting opportunity for a Project Outreach Officer.
To cement the success of Somerset Community Food's 'Somerset Land & Food Project', The Big Lottery is funding a further one year's work to sustain the change and impact generated. We are recruiting a Project Outreach Officer to help ensure that there is a tangible legacy - sharing best practice and the lessons learned over the past three years and creating a self-sustaining, community-based network of individuals, committed to accessing and using land for sustainable food production in Somerset.
The successful applicant will need to demonstrate how they have employed new and social media to develop and support community enterprise, in addition to more traditional outreach work. Experience of establishing not for profit organisations will also be valuable.
The post will be for one year, starting in November 2012 and will be based in Glastonbury.
For a job description and application form, please e-mail Susanna Dammann: s.dammann@btinternet.com - note that the closing date for applications is 17th September 2012.
