Incredible Edible South Somerset - Next Week!

Somerset Community Food's recent survey of allotment provision in South Somerset has shown that despite South Somerset having over 30 hectares of allotments there are still more than 150 people on the waiting list!

In response to this demand, Somerset Community Food have organised a public meeting. 'Incredible Edible South Somerset' will be taking place from 7-9pm on Wednesday 28th March at the Davis Hall in West Camel.

G3's Seedy Saturday!

Literally hundreds of packets of seeds changed hand at G3's 'Seedy Saturday' event in Glastonbury last Saturday. There were lots of interesting and unusual varieties available, particularly of squashes, tomatoes and leafy greens.   As usual, there were the 'mystery packets' where the writing couldn't be deciphered but people were still willing to take them home to 'bung in and see what happens'.

G3's Seedy Saturday!

Glastonbury Gardeners' Group is holding a seed swap on March 10th - bring any surplus seeds (suitably packaged/labelled and with cultivation instructions if possible) to swap for something interesting.  Don't worry if you haven't got anything to swap - a small donation will do!
