Looking to create community projects for growing food - new to Somerset
I am a:
Skills I am seeking:
Larger scale group growing eventually - just moved to the area and getting established in work and getting to know the area and people who are here. Very interested in straw bale building so if anyone has a local project please get in touch. Also learning about planting with the moon for the first time this year
Skills I can offer:
Gardening including veg growing and had an allotment in West Yorks for many years. Been involved in lots of community groups and transition town training and volunteering in Marsden West Yorks. Worked with young people in schools. Been trained to apply for funding and have done for myself and helped others for community projects
Tools & Resources I am seeking:
To work with others locally on community Projects for holistic living using eco friendly methods.
Land and people
Share knowledge and gardening tools and resources.
Tools & Resources I can offer:
Have tools some buildings and plants that I need to relocate from Marsden in Spring. Me :-)

Hi Jo, thank you for your reply, either a Sunday or a Wednesday are best for me, Sunday I might have kids, but Wed is my glorious child free day! Don't know if you are horsey or not but i better warn you that there are three horses and two ponies on the field at the moment, they will hopefully be electrically fenced safely out of the way by the end of the week though.  Let me know which suits best, Karen
