Vanessa Project Open Day & Celebration of Therapeutic Horticulture, April 2012

Exploring the role of therapeutic horticulture in well being. What place does gardening have in the wider context of ecotherapy?

  • Are you interested in getting involved in local growing & mental health projects or starting your own?
  • Are you a GP or professional who can recommend therapeutic horticulture to your clients?
  • Are you involved in fundraising for local projects?

Get Up & Grow is an open day to learn more about the success of the Vanessa Project & how gardening can make a real difference to people's lives. There will be stalls, refreshments & a plant sale, as well as workshops showcasing the successful work of community gardens in Somerset.

Please help us to raise £8000 to keep the important work of the award winning Vanessa Project going & work with us to get more therapeutic horticulture projects around Somerset recognised & funded.
