Food and drink lovers invited to Burnham on Sea's First Food and Drink Festival
You are invited to join exhibitors and demonstrators at Burnham-on-Sea's first food festival on Saturday 29th September at The Baptist Hall and The Princess Theatre.
Food stalls, tastings, demonstrations, local ciders, beers & wines, workshops will all be on offer, with no entry fee for visitors. The day will also include The Great Burnham Bake Off - a home baking competition for bread and cakes and home brew cider, wine and beer competitions for locals to take part in.
If you are a producer, restauranteur, brewer, retailer or supplier operating in the Somerset Levels then Beverley and Sarah are keen to hear from you as stalls and demonstration slots are still available.
Beverley and Sarah are also working to promote local businesses within Burnham-on-Sea too. Beverley says "the High Street is full of interesting and vibrant shops and we a working with each of them to help them maximise the Food Festival for them and for visitors. We were pleased to have kitchen supplier KDS sign up immediately and they are working with a local chef to offer cooking demonstrations in store, Truckles Farm Shop have also been quick to get involved and will be offering in store tastings throughout the day."
"Demonstarting to shoppers what great food, drink and service is available to them within Burnham-on-Sea is a key part of our motivation for putting on the festival and so to get an enthusiastic response from traders has been very encouraging." Check out our Our website
