Event Description

This year the Somerset Biodiversity Partnership and Somerset Environmental Records Centre are hosting a joint Biodiversity Event.
The event will take place on Saturday 30 June from approx 9.30 to 4.30 at the Edington Village Hall, TA7 9HA.  A map is available at . There is parking available but we would encourage car-sharing where possible.

The theme will be ‘Improving our knowledge of Somerset’s wildlife’.  The day will feature a range of speakers from recording groups, SERC and others on collecting, managing and sharing wildlife data of all kinds. In addition we will consider what this data is telling us about the health of Somerset’s biodiversity. A more detailed programme will be available nearer the time.
The event is free and a buffet lunch and refreshments will be provided (although donations would be gratefully received). There will be some space available for displays.
Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to collaborate with enthusiasts and specialists to improve your knowledge of Somerset’s wildlife. Places are limited and will be allocated on a ‘first come first served’ basis – so please book your place by 14th May 2012.
